Himalayan Summer Trekking Expedition Bhrigu Lake-2019

One of the easier treks of the Himachal, Bhrigu lake trek lies to the east of the famous Rohtang Pass. The trek delivers almost everything a trekker could wish for. The virgin forests capped with snow, the lush green meadows, a 360 degree view of the surrounding valleys like upper Kullu, Solang and Rohtang are just few items to look out for in the checklist. The Bhrigu lake itself is located at a height of 14000ft above sea level.  The location is popular because Maharshi Bhrigu, one of the Saptharshis from the Hindu Mythology was said to meditate in this region. The ambiance itself brings about a spiritual drive in anyone with its neatly carved wooden temples, hot springs, majestic waterfalls, village stays and a variety of cuisines to choose from. This also makes Bhrigu Lake a compelling destination for tourists and hikers who want to trek in tranquil and are looking out for a destination which is far yet close to the city.
