Beas Kund Trek-2019

“Valleys of snow and peaks of heaven” are the attractions for the adventure lovers and we hereby unleash the most preferable Manali, a place known for adventure high peak trekking. The day starts with amusement and ends with satisfaction. Like a “bright star in the sky”, Beas kund is the pond embracing the combination of beauty and nature, a place known for various attractions.

Report at the base camp at Rumsu on your own and complete the registration process. Lunch at 1 PM. Post lunch adventure activity (Rappelling/Rock Climbing). Once the activity gets over, we will go for an acclimatization walk after Attend an orientation session to be given by the chief organizer/guide which will cover the information like rucksack packing, marching/walking technique and general awareness about the trek route. Comfortable stay is arranged at Rumsu (8200 ft) either in tents or wooden houses based on availability.
The day starts with a jeep ride to Solang Valley (35 kms). Post lunch and followed by jeep ride through Rumsu to Solang Valley. For rest of the day participants can explore Solang Valley with the group. Overnight stay in the well settled tents with fun activities in the camp fire.
Trekking starts in the morning from Solang to Bakerthach via Dhundhi. The actual part of the trek till Dhundhi is via road. We have our packed lunch at Dhundhi. The later part of the trek has a moderate ascend and goes through forest of Pine and Oak trees leading to Bakerthach. Overnight stay in tents at Bakerthach.
“The myths suggest that the Kund is a source of Beas River”. The day inaugurates early from Bakerthach for Beas Kund. The panoramic sights of Shitidhar, Hanuman Tibba and Manali peaks from Beas Kund are quite mesmerizing and a half day sightseeing of beaskund. We will then start our descend to Bakerthach camp. Overnight stay in tents at Bakerthach.
Post breakfast we will descend for Solang Valley from Bakerthach camp. A Jeep ride from Solang valley to Manali. The team departs from Manali by 5 PM.

Things to make a note of

Even though minimum age limit to register for the program is 12 years, children less than 18 years of age are accepted for the treks only with a parent's/guardian's undertaking. ID Proof, YATA-India booking receipt, original medical certificate stating your fitness & two passports sized photographs are a must to enter the Base Camp. Without these documents, participants will not be allowed to proceed further at the Base Camp.
